Well i am not dead so i made it through the night and was even commended for doing all my chores. I finished David Copperfield last night so today I stuck my teeth in to a bit of Bram Stoker Dracula. I have been looking forward to reading this one since i got it. I know when i am doing well because i read and dont have to re-read line after line as i am distracted.
I woke up feeling very refreshed after a great nights sleep. It was strange to wake up with no child or dog in the house and i am looking forward to a few days of just me and Liz. Work went well and i got loads done. I feel really focused just now and can concentrate fully on whatever it is i am doing. For me this is a minor miracle with my brain whirring around in a million different directions usually.
I prepared us a nice dinner of stuffed peppers today. I am a trial and error cook and add bits of this and that until it tastes good. Today i struck gold and it was delicious. Cauliflower rice with harrisa paste, curry powder and soy sauce all fried off with garlic onion and mushrooms stuffed inside a red pepper. Boom i am a culinary marvel. We sat and ate dinner together and enjoyed a strangely quiet dinner time. We then shared a nice cup of tea together (god i sound old).
This evening we are going to spend quality time together playing playstation and I look forward to another day tomorrow.

Today's I woke up feeling shattered, work last night followed by desk work until 11:20pm after the rough day didn't do me any favours. I didn't sleep too well - although I must admit the new bed sheets felt AMAZING! Mike managed to get these on perfectly labels all in the correct places and he even plumped my pillows for me - now that's love for you. He made it throuh the evening, all jobs done once i'd got home so need for him to be in the dog house last night.
I had a training course all day at work today (I have this for 3 days) and it made the diet easier, I had to concentrate and this meant my mind wasn't wandering to fresh lamb / that pack of wafer thin ham! I kept on track with my water intake and had my 2 shakes throughout the day. These kept me going and I felt alive and I must say my concentration was better than I had expected. For those that know me know I'm not one to just sit there and be spoken at all day but I managed and this suprised me.
We had stuffed peppers for dinner tonight and oh my they were incredible, turns out a little soy sauce in the filling is all it needed to added this extra uumph. Absolutly gorgeous and I can't wait until we have them again.
We have a very rare evening to ourselves tonight, no dog, no child, no going out. So we plan to sit infront the playstation and enjoy some time together.
I'm looking forward to the next few days as we have some tasty dinners lined up. We can and will do this.
