Liz -

A good day again for me today, I even spent some of my time this afternoon talking about food with my team at work and although a small amount of temptation kicked in I didn't give in. The thought of a nice chinese / some pasta, these thoughts still go through my mind however I haven't given in and no matter how much people try to tempt me I will not give in until we finish our 8 weeks.

You'll be pleased to know the trampoline has now gone, however the arguments around how to fold and pack a trampoline haven't lol! We spent time on the dog walk today discussing this - think it might go on for a while.

3 shakes for me today, I need to ensure I have 3 a day and not just give up on the 3rd one. I have found when I don't have the 3 a day I wake up the next day and I feel rather achy.

Gym tomorrow morning then last day at work before a week off, we have a busy week coming up and we must remember to stay focused & remind ourselves of why we are doing this, Michael’s health is highly important to me and I'm here to support him every step of the way.

We are going out for dinner tomorrow - dangerous you may say - however Mike's Aunt & Uncle have offered to cook a veg curry for us, from our diet material, I can't wait to try it & am looking forward to a nice catch up with them and Nicole.

Here's to more success to end the week & a good weigh in on Saturday.

Mike -

Another positive start to the day when i stepped on the scales. Always a good start to the day knowing i am still losing weight like nobodys business. Got my arse in gear and did my shake and off i went. Meetings all day at work and then before i knew it i was heading home.

We went to Rotherfield woods for a walk with Lexi and Liz told me whilst we were walking round that I am middle class now so need to package things differenlt when we re-sell them. What else do i have to do being middle class? I won't have to pay someone to come and clean the house will I? Oh wait we do that already. Maybe i could be middle class after all.................... Nope.

This evening we had stuffed peppers which were devine. Liz made them with cauliflower rice, mushrooms, spring onions, garlic and tikka powder with a dash of soy sauce. It got me thinking that this would be really nice if we stuffed the peppers with mince and lea and perrins. Yum yum. That's one for after the 8 weeks is over. 25th June is the last day of phase one. My aim is to get another stone and a half off in the remaining 4 and a bit weeks.

This evening we are watching the friends re-union. It's good memories watching this. What an iconic programme.

Carpe Diem 4L

Phase 2 Update

I have to say that sticking to phase 2 is still presenting a real challenge. Still not quite finding the right balance. Water consumption...
