So there is a fair bit to catch up on over the last couple of days. I am still losing weight and have now gone over 3 and a half stone since we started. I never dreamed i would lose so much so fast. I am missing food but you know what i am sticking this out to the bitter end. Yesterday I popped over to Gillingham in the morning and the rest of the afternoon was spent packing and looking at cars for Liz. She is happy with the car she is getting and was extremely excited when it all went through ok. We then popped down to homebase to get some bits and decided that we could get everything we needed rather than go to ikea on the Sunday. It was a wise move as i don't think i really fancied wandering around ikea today. Then in the evening we went for a chinese at my sister and brother in laws house. It was nice to spend time with them and my niece and nephew who were excited to see us. We then headed home and both slept like logs after a full on day.
Today we were up and ready for our 09:30 appointment at the cafe near my Mum and Dads to surprise him for fathers day. We had a really good time together and we decided we would eat while we were there. I really enjoyed what we had although the full english breakfast with black pudding and a milkshake was very very tempting. However, i was full after I had eaten and found the vegetable patty very flavoursome. We knew that once this was done it was going to be a full on day of packing ahead. We decided that we should go through our bedroom first and i went through my clothes and threw so much away where it was way too big for me. I am shocked with just how much i have shrunk. A suit i haven't been able to fit into for over a decade now fits nicely. I am proud of both of us for sticking to our guns and being ruthless with getting rid of clothes that no longer fit. We then sorted out the garden after looking at the weather forecast for tomorrow and decided to get this done now so we only have things indoors left to do tomorrow. I am not as down as Liz on what we have left to do tomorrow when i look at what we have achieved the last couple of days. We have the rest of the kitchen to pack, cupboard under the stairs and the rest of the airing cupboard and then it's taking the tv's off the walls and curtain rails down. To me this isn't too much to do.
I can't wait for Tuesday to come and for us to start our life in our new home. For this evening i want to try and relax as much as i can as it's the first time in a long time i have had Liz at home on a Sunday night as she normally works.
Carpe Diem 4L

So the last couple of days have been extremely busy. We have now however packed alot of the house ready for Tuesday's big move. I started this process Friday, continued majority of Sat & most of today and I still feel like we won't be done by the time the removal company arrive to collect it all on Tuesday morning. We have had a couple of breaks in packing, 1 to go buy me and new car, can't wait! We also took a trip round homebase (We know how to live) and bought some bits ready for the new house. We had dinner last night with Nat & Harry - we went for chinese and we stuck to our mushroom curry's and beansprouts, this was yummy and was nice to be out away from the boxes for a ltitle while.
Today is Father's day and I have rung my dad (he lives to far away to just pop and see) and we met with Mike's family for breakfast this morning. We decided it would have been rude to sit and just drink tea so we looked through the menu for our best option. We ended up with baked beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, veggie patty, egg & hashbrowns. We were both very good and gave away the hasbrowns to others at the table. It felt good to eat out and although they wern't huge portions I felt extremely full after eating it all.
We have then spent the rest of our day packing, I was however proud of us both as we tackled our bedroom we both threw out alot of clothes that are now too big for us - 5 bags went down to the charity clothes bins today. Between us that is alot of clothes to get rid of, although Michael will tell you I still have far to many i'm sure!
Yesterday I didn't manage all of my water, as we went out and then suddenly decided not to come back before we went for dinner, so I ended up leaving my water at home. So today I woke up with a small headache which luckily soon passed, I have tried throughout the day to keep up with my water intake. This however has meant I spent the majority of the day in our favourite room again - I'm telling you, it's crazy, you miss 1 day of full water intake and it's like retraining your bladder to hold it in all over again.
Tonight we will do some more packing/sorting, along with the majority of tomorrow in the hopes we get it all completed - wish us luck!
