Phase 2 Update Saturday 24th July

So no work today and a day locked in at home. We had a nice lay in this morning and didn't get up until around 9 - even Lexi slept in and we had to wake her (very unusual but think she's making the most of being locked in too!). This morning we were both quite bored and spent most of it napping and Mike was reading or watching tv. Our neighbour kindly went out and got some shopping for us as we couldn't get out. We had our daily meal about 2 o'clock and had a nice meal together.

This afternoon we sat and still couldn't decide what to do so we decided to do some painting and have spent the rest of the day doing this. It's been a lovely afternoon and evening spent together. We were supposed to be at a baby gender reveal this afternoon but couldn't go because of our isolation but it looked like everyone had a good time and there was a proposal as part of it. How exciting that must of been for them. They are a lovely couple so i am really pleased for them.

For the rest of the day we are going to watch the darts and some more tv. It does feel like we are back on track now and the results are showing on the scales again. Mike will be due to have a blood test in the coming weeks to see if the most important part of this project has also been succesful which was to reverse his type 2 diabetes.
