We'd like to begin by apologising to everyone for our lack of blogs. Truth be told we have struggled, not a little but ALOT. Infact we've had 2 weeks of not following the diet atall! We have had takeaways, meals out, snacks, alcahol, you name it we've eaten / drunk it.
We are not proud of ourselves and know that we need to refocus on whats important in life.
Now we could sit here and come up with a load of excuses why we haven't followed the plan but the complete truth is we started Phase 2 it was harder than we thought, our hunger came back with avengence and we just gave in and ate! There are no excuses other than our will power andf determination let us down at this stage.
However we woild like to say we are now going to refrain from takeaways, alcahol & stupidity and refocus on what is important, our health! We will be back to blogging everyday going forward as this was a huge support mechanism for us and helped us both to stay on track. So for those following our journey we will return, for those who thought finally they have stopped filling my news feed - sorry but we are back!!
We are currently in isolation (10 days!) and we have done an online shop, only food appropriate to Phase 2 has been ordered and we have plenty of shakes left in our cupboard. We CAN and we WILL do this, neither of us want to put on the weight we lost, and we don't want Michael to have his blood test and it hasn't had the desired effect. Here's hoping his test comes after our isolation finishes!
Tomorrow morning, water bottles will be filled (we havent even managed our 2.5ltrs per day the last few weeks), shakes will be prepared & dinner will be prepared for Phase 2.
The truth behind all this is Phase 2 is hard! You start to eat and your stomach says ohhhhhh foooooooood, give me more & more & more. If you dont have the will power this is where the wheels fall off (As they did for us). Anyone following this diet or something similar will tell you that focus is key, the second you lose focus you lose everything!
